—Upon discovery of the wide variety of food, a burst of excitement coursed through the salamander’s veins. Cuisine such as this was truly a wonderful meal worth his standards. Truly anything involving meat was instant heaven for the son of Igneel. Cake was delicious of course too, but the meat.. At least it was good for you, so it was alright to be a glutton about it.

 Displaying the excited a giant grin overtook the salamander’s features, before pumping a lone fist in the air. Then going to grab a chicken leg out of the container, he could already imagine its juicy and rich texture. 

❝—All alright! You’re awesome Bixlow ! ! What are we waiting for ? Lets chow down !❞

          seeing the glimmer of excitement in the eyes of the dragon slayer made bixlow happy to have invited his comrade to this little arrangement. normally, he would have brought along the raijinshuu, but since they were on separate personal affairs, the puppeteer thought that it would be a great opportunity to bond with the other members of the guild. it seemed that the suggestion of free food was all that was needed to convince natsu of his company.

          with the vast array of viands sprawled out before him, the masked man found it hard with which food item he would start his meal with. everything looked tempting to try, and his mouth salivated in response.

         ”—Well hey at least they came in handy, great thinking Bixlow!” 

 (Better not pick me up. I’ll make you regret it.)

   It was quite a creative idea actually, those creepy dolls of his served more purposes than one. Arriving at their destination at last, he’d set his rucksack on the grass next to him, before plopping on the ground with a large grin. Now, came the most important question of all.

         ”Alright! What did ya bring?”

          starved and ready to partake in a glorious meal, bixlow wasted no time in unfurling the massive cloth that he had stowed away in the bag that hung on his shoulder. yes, he was hungry, but that didn’t mean he would allow the food to get dirty.

          not long after, the wooden figurines set down the containers in one swift motion, leaving a wonderful selection of scrumptiousness.

          ❛ {✖} we brought a lot, baby! some roasted pork and chicken, some sausages, grilled fish, and there’s fried rice! ❜
                                                            - announced the seith mage, grinning.

          ❛ {✖} an’ there’s lots of cake for dessert! ahihihi~! ❜

      “—Hey since when do those things carry food Bixlow?” How he got himself in a picnic he didn’t know. Food was the one thing that caught the salamander’s eyes, it was one of his favorite things after all. Perhaps that’s why he tagged along.

          ❛ {✖} they can carry a lot of stuff, baby! it can even carry ya’, but i don’t think ya’d like that! nyahahahaha! ❜

          finally, they had found a clear, peaceful spot on which they could lay down and feast. he had to admit, natsu was quite the unusual choice of comrade to bring with, but at least he wouldn’t be chowing down alone.
